Target groups of our educational work:
Youth education (Franziska Kosian):
- School classes and open youth work groups
- LGBTIQNA* people until 27 ýears
- Interested teenagers and young adults up to the age of 27
Adult education (Marcello Helwig):
- Teachers, educators and pedagogical professionals
- social (school) workers und andere multipliers
- LGBTIQNA* people 18 years or older
- Educational events for relatives, associated people,as well as all those thematically interested
Formats of our educational work:
- We tailor our educational programmes to the wishes and needs of the respective target group. This results in customised (impulse) lectures, workshops and one-day seminars.
- We design low-threshold offers for various life situations and to create visibility for LGBTIQNA*, e.g. in film and literature.
- On request, we can also write specialist articles or assist with the organisation of external events.
- Our school education and anti-discrimination project FAQueers offers preventative workshops for students from Year 7 onwards. The core of the work here is the reduction of prejudices against LGBTIQNA* through biography work.
Contents of our educational work:
- Queer basics: introduction to the topic of sexual and gender diversity (clarification of terms, experience of discrimination, dealing with one’s own privileges, knowledge of references, etc.)
- Occupational field-related specialisation workshops
- Workshops on a queer-sensitive approach to working with children and young people
- Themed workshops for teenagers:
- Work on special events in queer history
- How can I be a good ally?
